The SERMACS/SWRM 2025 organizing committee wants every attendee, exhibitor, sponsor and visitor to be able to use this website, including people who rely on a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or captions.

What Standard Does This Website Follow?
We hold this website to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Those guidelines cover things like color contrast, text alternatives for images, clear headings, labeled form fields and the ability to move through every page with a keyboard alone.
What Have We Done So Far?
We test the site with automated accessibility tools and fix what they find. Every page has a skip link that jumps straight to the main content, a single main heading, and form fields that announce what they are for. Images carry descriptive alternative text, buttons and links have names a screen reader can read out, and the hotel photo slider has labeled controls.
We also check color contrast on buttons, links and text so that program times, booth details and travel information stay readable for people with low vision.
What About Content From Other Organizations?
Some parts of the site come from outside services. Meeting registration runs on Cvent, sponsorship payments run on PayPal, the hotel booking link goes to Hilton, and the booth order form uses Google reCAPTCHA. We do not control how those services are built, but if one of them gets in your way, tell us and we will help you finish what you started by email.
Is Anything Still Being Worked On?
Yes. We keep testing as pages change. Some documents, such as the printed program, award forms and the exposition prospectus, are PDF or Word files that may not be fully accessible. If you need one of them in a different format, ask and we will send you the information another way.
How Do You Report a Problem?
If anything on this website is hard to use, please let us know. Tell us which page you were on and what happened, and we will work on a fix and get back to you.
